Educational Qualification
Para Pump Operator
- Matric (10th) with ITI in Electrician/Wireman/Diesel Mechanic/Pump Mechanic/Motor Mechanic or equivalent prescribed trade.
- OR Matric with Skill Development Certificate in the relevant trade.
Para Fitter
- Matric (10th) with ITI in Fitter/Plumber.
Multipurpose Worker
- Minimum 8th Pass from a recognized school.
Knowledge of Himachali customs, manners and dialects is desirable.
Honorarium
- Para Pump Operator / Para Fitter: ₹7,100 per month
- Multipurpose Worker: ₹6,000 per month

Selection Process
Para Pump Operator & Para Fitter (Total 10 Marks)
- Educational Qualification – 5 Marks
- BPL – 1 Mark
- Relevant Experience – 2 Marks
- Skill Test & Physical Test – 2 Marks
Multipurpose Worker (Total 10 Marks)
- Educational Qualification – 6 Marks
- Experience – 2 Marks
- Physical Test – 2 Marks
Documents Required
Applicants should attach self-attested copies of:
- Aadhaar Card
- Date of Birth Certificate
- Educational/Technical Qualification Certificates
- Bonafide Himachali Certificate
- Character Certificate
- BPL Certificate (if applicable)
- Experience Certificate (if applicable)
- SC/ST/OBC/EWS Certificate (if applicable)
Important Instructions
- Apply only on the prescribed application form (Annexure-B).
- Application must be filled in the candidate’s own handwriting.
- Incomplete applications will be rejected.
- If no caste certificate is enclosed, the candidate will be treated as General Category.
- Attach one self-addressed 9″ × 4″ envelope with a ₹6 postage stamp.
- Working hours: 6 hours per day.
- Selected candidates can be posted anywhere under Jal Shakti Division Shahpur.
- For Multipurpose Worker, evaluation will be based only on 8th class marks, even if the candidate possesses higher qualifications.
