Aim: To sensitize people about the importance of daughters and forest conservation. It is belived that by planting a sapling in the name of girl child and with the effort of nurturing each sapling into a tree, communities would be sensitized to be more committed towards the rights of the girl child loading to realization of her full potential.
उद्देश्य: बेटियों और वन संरक्षण के महत्व के बारे में लोगों को जागरूक करना। यह माना जाता है कि बालिकाओं के नाम पर एक पौधा लगाकर और प्रत्येक पौधे को एक पेड़ के रूप में पालने के प्रयास से, समुदायों को बालिकाओं के अधिकारों के प्रति अधिक प्रतिबद्ध होने के लिए जागरूक किया जाएगा ताकि वे अपनी पूरी क्षमता का उपयोग कर सकें।
Details: Upon the birth of a girl child anywhere in the State, the Forest Department would gift 5 saplings of identified species alongwith a planting kit to grow robust and healthy tall plants. These are planted by parents of the girl during monsoon or winter session either on their homestead land or forest land.
विवरण: राज्य में कहीं भी एक लड़की के जन्म पर, वन विभाग मजबूत और स्वस्थ लम्बे पौधे उगाने के लिए रोपण किट के साथ चिन्हित प्रजातियों के 5 पौधे उपहार में देगा। ये लड़की के माता-पिता द्वारा मानसून या शीतकालीन सत्र के दौरान या तो उनके घर की जमीन या वन भूमि पर लगाए जाते हैं।
