“Acharya Charak Yojana” “आचार्य चरक योजना”

  • I initiate the “Acharya Charak Yojana” under which all Government AYUSH hospitals and dispensaries in Himachal Pradesh will provide patients with free diagnostic tests and essential medicines.
  • This scheme will include 20 types of free diagnostic tests and over 150 AYUSH medicines listed as essential drugs, available at no cost.
  • It aims to deliver high-quality traditional medical services to the citizens of the State and contribute to building a healthier society.

“Rajiv Gandhi Van Samvardhan Yojana” “राजीव गांधी वन संवर्धन योजना”

  • In order to promote community participation in forest management and forest area expansion, I announce the implementation of the “Rajiv Gandhi Van Samvardhan Yojana”.
  • In this scheme, Yuva Mandals, Mahila Mandals, and Self Help Groups will be encouraged to plant trees, fruit-bearing and other useful plants on barren land and ensure their protection.
  • They will be given plantation areas ranging from one hectare to five hectares for management.
  • The average plantation area is estimated to be more than two hectares.
  • Considering an area of 2 hectares, these groups will be provided with financial assistance of ₹2.4 lakhs in the first year for planting fruit-bearing trees and related works.
  • Thereafter, for five years, if the survival percentage is 50% or more, an annual amount of ₹1 lakh will be given in the second, third, fourth, and fifth years.
  • If the survival percentage is less than 50%, proportionate incentive and conservation funds will be provided. In this way, each group can receive ₹6.4 lakhs in total.
  • This will undoubtedly improve the rural economy. All these forest areas will be geo-tagged, and online monitoring will be carried out.
  • An expenditure of ₹100 crores has been proposed for this scheme.

“Chief Minister Tourism Start-Up Scheme” “मुख्यमंत्री पर्यटन स्टार्ट-अप योजना”

  • I announce the launch of a new scheme, “Chief Minister Tourism Start-Up Scheme” to provide employment to the youth of the State and strengthen the rural economy.
  • Under this scheme, Himachali youths in non-tribal areas of the State will be given an interest subvention of 4% on loans for contructing Home Stay Units and Hotels, while in tribal areas, an interest subvention of 5% will be provided.
  • Additionally, food vans with a 30% subsidy will be provided to the youth of the State to operate on national highways and District headquarters.
  • An expenditure of ₹50 crore will be incurred.

“Indira Gandhi Pyari Behna Sukh Samman Nidhi Yojana”” “इंदिरा गांधी प्यारी बहना सुख सम्मान निधि योजना””

  • Under the “Indira Gandhi Pyari Behna Sukh Samman Nidhi Yojana” launched by the Government, eligible women between the ages of 18 and 59 are provided ₹1,500 per month.

“Mukhyamantri Vriddhjan Dekhbhal Yojana” “मुख्यमंत्री वृद्धजन देखभाल योजना”

  • A scheme named “Mukhyamantri Vriddhjan Dekhbhal Yojana” will be introduced to facilitate healthcare services for senior citizens.
  • Under this scheme, health and paramedical staff will visit the homes of individuals aged 70 years or above through mobile health vans to conduct health check-ups.
  • This will ensure that their healthcare needs are addressed on a priority basis.

“Green Panchayat Scheme: “ग्रीन पंचायत योजना:

  • The Government’s goal is to make the State the country’s first green State by 2026.
  • In the Government sector, HPPCL aims to establish 500 MW of solar capacity projects by 2026-27.
  • Under the “Green Panchayat Scheme, 500-500 kW solar projects will be set up in 100 panchayats.
