Educational Qualification
- Minimum qualification: Middle (8th) Pass or equivalent recognized by the Himachal Pradesh Government.
- Higher qualifications will not be considered for merit evaluation. Selection is based only on Middle examination marks.
Age Limit
- Minimum: 18 Years
- Maximum: 45 Years
- Age will be calculated as on 31 July 2026.
Honorarium
- ₹6,000 per month (Fixed)

Selection Process
Selection will be based on 10 marks:
- Middle (8th) Examination Marks – 6 Marks
- Experience – 2 Marks
- Physical Test – 2 Marks
Experience
Preference/marks will be given for experience in:
- IPH
- HPPWD
- CPWD
- PSUs
- Outsourcing agencies providing services to HP Jal Shakti Vibhag
Minimum 6 months experience is required to claim experience marks.
Physical Standards
Candidates should:
- Be physically fit to carry tools and pipes in hilly areas.
- Not have physical disabilities or colour blindness.

- Bonafide Himachali Certificate
- Middle Pass Certificate with Detailed Marks Sheet
- Date of Birth Certificate (if DOB is not mentioned in Middle certificate)
- Experience Certificate (if applicable)

Selected candidates can be posted anywhere in Himachal Pradesh under the jurisdiction of the Hydrology C&M Division as per departmental requirements.
